Inspired: Charmaine Olivia

My favourite artist of all time is Charmaine Olivia. I have no idea how I discovered her, but I am so glad I did. 

Her portraits are expressive, full of light, and inspiring. Colours and space and patterns surround beautiful girls with exaggerated features. I like the use of paint, how it's so thick a textured, giving her work a three dimensional feel.

I have a few prints on my wall, I'm keeping them in the plastic wrap in the frame because I want to treasure them forever. When I have my own house, I will probably get them professionally framed (or frame them myself, thanks to uni I can do that now!!).
